Brighton Baby Room - Save places for under 2s

Parents in Brighton are battling the closure of council-run under 2 provision, and the baby room at Bright Start Nursery.

The closure of the baby room will strip the city centre of one of the few affordable nurseries in the area providing quality early years education and care for under 2s. The nursery has a high proportion of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and with English as an additional language. Campaigners raise that the Council have not even undertaken a full Equalities Impact Assessment on the impact of the planned baby room closure.
